Ochre House Talent Management Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ochre House Ltd, and the investment vehicle formed in 2006 to facilitate a management buyout of Ochre House Talent Management and associated businesses. Backed by NBGI Private Equity, the Directors of Ochre House Ltd include:

  • Chris Herrmannsen

    Chris Herrmannsen CEO

    Ochre House was founded in 2006 when Chris led an MBO of the talent management business from Trinity Mirror, having originally joined the business in late 2004 from Hudson Highland Group Inc.

    Whilst at Hudson, Chris led their European recruitment and HR consulting operations as President. In this position, he was responsible for 1,500 staff in 16 countries.

    Prior to his position at Hudson, Chris was the UK CEO for TMP Worldwide/Monster Worldwide Inc, which demerged in 2003 to form Hudson Highland. Chris started his career with Hays Plc in 1989, before joining Harrison Willis, a leading financial recruitment group where he progressed to become Group Managing Director. In 1997, Chris led an MBO of that business - backed by 3i - and became Executive Director of HW Group PLC after a successful flotation of the business on the London Stock Exchange in 1998. HW Group PLC was acquired by TMP Worldwide in 2000.

  • Andrew Frome

    Andrew Frome Finance Director

    Andrew is responsible for the financial management of Ochre House as well as dealing with any legal/contractual dimensions. He also acts as a primary contact point with shareholders and providers of finance.

    After completing his training with KPMG, Andrew moved into industry, initially with Glaxo Wellcome plc and then as Group Financial Controller of Critchley Group plc.

    Attracted by the world of private equity-owned businesses he joined Edotech Limited, an outsourcing business, which had recently bought itself out of Barclays Bank. Following a successful sale, he joined Ochre House in early 2007.

  • Mark Owen

    Mark Owen Investor Director

    Mark has considerable experience in both private equity and industry. He was a founder director of NBGI Private Equity in 2000 following six years with Granville Private Equity Managers. Prior to that he worked for five years with Schroders Corporate Finance running their private transactions team. He has also spent ten years in industry, in the US with Combustion Engineering, a diversified engineering and services group, and Champion International, a paper and building products manufacturer.

    Mark graduated from Selwyn College, Cambridge and has an MBA from Wharton.

  • Richard Martin

    Richard Martin Chairman

    Richard is Chair of the NHS Professionals Special Health Authority, formerly he was Chief Executive Officer and then President of Adecco UK and Managing Director of Granada Hospitality Limited.

    During his period at Adecco he was involved in developing a new model for the out sourcing of the HR function and after leaving the organisation he became one of the founders and Chairman of Integrated International Payroll Ltd (iiPay) an internet based payroll organisation specialising in complex payroll solutions particularly cross border arrangements for expatriates. iipay software manages payrolls in over 55 countries and is the only fully integrated international payroll system currently available. During 2005 the company was refinanced with the help of MMC Venture Capital.

    Richard joined Ochre House as Chair in March 2007.
