We recently conducted a piece of research with GE Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT) focusing on Women in Leadership. One of the outcomes from the research was that a significant proportion of female managers and leaders interviewed believe that we need to adopt a ‘game changing’ approach to women in leadership. There is a great opportunity for organisations in the MENAT region to collectively collaborate and explore how to remove some of the internal and external barriers to women’s progress to top roles.
To explore this further Wayne Davies, HR Director for GE MENAT, is hosting an exclusive think tank for senior HR and business leaders who have an active interest in diversity in the MENAT region. You come together to form a working group to jointly discuss and agree on key interventions – internal, external and cross organisational – to facilitate change in this region. We are also hoping that this group would like to continue collaborating on other HR and leadership topics relevant to the region.
