In a recent survey by the Corporate Leadership Council, only 12% of senior executives that their recent M&A transactions were reported “highly successful” and that the integration was the greatest source of M&A failure. On further analysis, the “human capital” elements - such as cultural integration, organisation design and effective engagement - were cited as being most critical to successful Integration.
