Global Resourcing Models - San Francisco

Think Tank hosted by Pinstripe and Ochre House in the U.S.

The world is changing faster than ever before and globalisation continues its march. Leading businesses are realising they need to adopt a strategic approach to talent acquisition and staffing which increasingly involves managing talent at global levels.

Following the success of our recent global staffing workshop in London and virtual webinars we are now launching a global staffing initiative. This creates an opportunity for like-minded global Heads of Recruitment on both sides of the Atlantic to share best practices and innovation through roundtable discussions, virtual meetings and specific benchmarking activities.

The first U.S. think tank will be hosted by Nury Plumley, Global Staffing Programs Manager for Agilent Technologies. At this session we will explore the latest strategic thinking, challenges and opportunities related to global staffing today and in the future.

This interactive session features roundtable discussions and mini case studies to allow attendees to openly share best practices and hear innovative ideas. Nury will share her approach to building a global staffing function including strategy, operating model, challenges, successes and gaps.

Discussion points

  • External and internal drivers and goals for the global staffing function
  • Defining global staffing function goals and measures of success
  • What are the different staffing models organisations have adapted and why? Is there a difference in thoughts between EMEA and US-centric organisations?
  • Partner communities – what’s the future picture to achieve staffing goals? Who are organisations working with?

The session will be facilitated by Sue Marks, CEO of Pinstripe and Sue Brooks, Managing Director of Ochre House. Sue Marks and Sue Brooks are both considered great thought leaders in talent acquisition and management.

Pre-event interviews to explore the agenda and to conduct a small benchmark will take place before the session. The results of the benchmark will be presented the day of the event.
